What is an Access Coordinator? |
A below the line crew role, an Access Coordinator is dedicated to helping Film and Television productions as they look to remove barriers to inclusion in the Screen Sector. The Access Coordinator advocates for any cast or crew who are disabled, deaf and/or neurodivergent (DDN). They signpost, advise, guide and oversee to support the individual and production as the appropriate adjustments and access provisions are put into place. They provide a service which is catered to the individual, while assisting production processes overall as they look to support an access first approach.
