Felicity Hamill is a freelance performer and crew member for film, television, theatre and live events. Currently based in Aotearoa New Zealand, Felicity has worked for various production companies, both locally and abroad.
A former contemporary dancer and a huge fan of creature characters on stage and screen, Felicity landed her first chance to join the world of movie magic when cast as a goblin and orc extra for The Lord of the Rings Trilogy in 2000.
The experience cemented her passion for physical performing. Creature highlights since have included playing a child ape in the BBC TV Drama The Lost World, a Hag in feature film The Lion Witch and the Wardrobe and performing on stage as Schnitzel von Krumm in the much-loved Paul Jenden tours of The Hairy Maclary Show. She has worked as a child double and Motion Capture performer and still holds a special passion for bringing creature roles to life.
Over 20 years’ experience across various departments in our Screen and Live Events sector.

Theatre Stage Manager, Production Coordinator.
Access Coordinator.
A below the line crew role, the Access Coordinator is dedicated to supporting Film and Television productions as they look to identify and remove barriers to access in our Screen Sector.
Access Coordinators support and advocate for all cast and crew who are disabled, deaf or neurodivergent (DDN). They provide a service which is catered to the individual, while assisting production processes overall as they look to support an access first approach.
Nice people saying nice things about working with Felicity
“Felicity is like a warm cup of soup on a cold winter’s day. Not only fantastic to work with, but she is a pioneer in a field that is breaking the ableism that we call normal. Warm, safe and open, Felicity made sure that I as a disabled person had all my access needs met during the production.”
– Ari Kerssens Host Sight Unseen
“I have worked with Felicity on two of my films; “Letter For Hope” and “R.E.M.” I would hire Felicity in a heartbeat. She is completely focused on her tasks and a wonderfully supportive and collaborative member of the team. She has a positive, fun energy on set and is liked and respected by everyone in the crew. Passionate about her craft, the dedication flows through to an investment in the successful completion of the films. I highly recommend Felicity as a member of any film crew.
